Just follow these steps to be up and running with Copperduino

1. Buy your Copperduino Available here, worldwide delivery
2. Buy the Microchip's Pickit3 programmer/debugger Available from multiple vendors:
3. Buy the required shield for your demos and own applications See the demo page for a direct link to the shield manufacturers/suppliers
4. Install the CopperLan package A single-click installation freeware downloadable on the CopperLan website
5. Read about using CopperLan On the CopperLan website,
  • Register for the freeware version from the Developer section.
  • Download and install the SDK. The SDK is actually not required to run Copperduino apps but it will teach you a lot about CopperLan.
6. Run the board Get it fine in 3 steps:
  1. Flash the .hex file to validate your setup
    WARNING Do not connect your programmer to the male pins on the board; these correspond to the CopperLan MCU !
  2. Compile the demo to validate your dev tools
  3. Develop your own application
