MIDI I/O

A MIDI interface

This demo implements the conversion of MIDI-compliant Copperlan messages to and from MIDI electric signal.

Usage

This converter can receive flows from multiple sources at once (merging) and can similarly send its incoming MIDI messages to multiple destinations.
Each channel can be individually filtered, directed and remapped into another channel.
Clock and system signals are also handled separately
All settings are handled remotely from the CopperLan Manager application.
The Ethernet connection fits well with the need for long distance cabling.

Variations

MIDI could be processed on its way in or out with functions such as note filtering remapping, transposition, velocity process, delay or anything else you can imagine.
The three buttons and the two potentiometers are not allocated and can be used for your additional functions.
