Polysynth

A polyphonic synthesizer

This demo is using a synth chip originally developed for MIDI in order to play it the CopperLan way.
It implements various features normally not available in MIDI such as altering the pitch of individual notes while they sound.
Most settings are editable via the CopperLan Manager application.


Usage

The main goal of this demo is to understand musical aspects of the CopperLan protocol. It can help you validate an application or instrument controller that speaks CopperLan.
Of course, the synth can be sent MIDI messages via CopperLan, but that won't bring much !

Variations

There is room for creativity here. Not all parameters have been implemented for remote control.
New modes such as unison with adjustable detuning are easy to do.
